Fisrt taste of Big School!

I took Elizabeth to visit her Big School last week. The school put on an open afternoon for all new pupils to come along with their parents and get a taste of school life.

She absolutely loved it! As soon as we arrived at the school gates she was bounding on ahead of me, and rushed into the classroom without a second look back.

Amelia, Elizabeth's friend from nursery, is going to be in her class and together they made themselves at home in the book corner. We also got to meet her new teacher Mrs Bailey who is lovely.

And there was a chance to sample the school dinners, which were delicious, much nicer than I remember mine being! If this first visit was anythnig to go by she's going to love every minute of school life.
