Daddy's birthday

It was my Daddy's birthday yesterday, we had a lovely day. Mummy and I gave him his presents in the morning, and I let Daddy play with me under my mini gym!

Then Mummy took us out for a pub lunch!

In the evening they watched a film which I found pretty boring, so I did my very favortie thing - falling asleep on Daddy's cheast.

First proper smiles!

It's got to be one of the most wonderful moments of your life - the day your child first gives you a proper smile, and now we both know first hand what a true joy that is. Elizabeth has been "smiling" pretty much from the day she was born - she's so full of different facial expressions - but they were always unintentional. Until the other day... Andy got her up in the morning and was changing her nappy, I lay in bed listening to the two of them - Andy's babytalk and Elizabeth's cooing back. Then I heard Andy's joy at receiving a true smile from his daughter in return for his, a truly intentional gesture. I had to wait until the following day for mine, but when it came it filled my heart to overflowing!
