Mummy or Daddy?

Its so exciting to know that in a month's time we'll meet our son or daughter, but who will s/he look most like...

Baby Shower

Heather organised a wonderful "baby shower" for me last week. It was a fantiastic evening with all my girlfriends together to celebrate the coming our our little son or daughter, and to shower me with gifts! I felt so spoilt and got so many lovely things for me and "the chicken". Thank you so much to all my girlies who were so generous.
Everyone had to bring a baby photo of themselves and we all had to guess who was who - a great way for all my friends to mix with each other and loads of fun. Heather also organised a sweep-stake. Everyone was asked to guess the sex, weight and birthday of Baby Chamberlain... I'll keep you posted.
Big bump / little bump. Carrie and I - our baby's are due just three months apart, it'll be so nice to have another new Mum just round the corner.

Christmas Time

Happy New Year to you all!
We've had a wonderful Christmas time of celebrations. Andy had to work on Christmas Day, but finished in time for Chirstmas dinner with The Chamberlains, which was fantiastic. Andy's sister Sarah and Adam got engaged a few days before Chirstmas, so we were able to celebrate their happy news too.

Then on 29th we celebrated Jon and Katie's wedding with them, here in Bournemouth. It was a wonderful day, Andy and I had the honour of praying for them during the service. The reception at Sandbanks was fantastic, we danced the night away with all our friends. (No idea what "the chicken" made of all the noise and movement!)

The next day we were off to London, for my best friend Sara's wedding to the lovely Adam.
Again I had the honour of reading a sonnet during thier wedding ceremony. Sara looked stunning, and Adam blissfully happy! At thier reception - a cruise along the Themes - Sara announced that the baby she's expecting in May is a little boy! It's so exciting to be pregnant at the same time as Sara - we've know eachother for 16 years!

As for our little chicken, we've no idea whether (s)he'll be a boy or a girl, but we've only got about 6 weeks to wait to find out!!
