Birthday Girl

I can't quite believe that our little poppet is one. Its been the most amazing year of our lives, she's such an incredibly precious girl. I can't imagine life without her!







We had an absolutely fantastic day, not only was it Elizabeth's first birthday, but it was also Mother's Day - a double, well actually triple (three generations) celebration. My Mum and Hugh were with us for the weekend so Andy cooked the Mothers a special Mother's Day fry-up!
Then it was all about the birthday girl! Mum and I cooked Elizabeth a chocolate hedgehog cake - a Sampson family tradition. Brook had also baked a beautiful cake for the little poppet - YUMMY!
All Elizabeth's guests arrived and she was the star of the day. She lapped up all the attention and loved all of her wonderful presents.
She certainly slept well that night!
